YMCA England: Helping young people build a future

The Youth Matters Awards recognise the exceptional skills and talents of young people across the YMCA and celebrate the important work that YMCAs carry out in order to help young people build a future.

2012 Winners

This year's Youth Matters winners were announced and presented with their awards at a very special event hosted by TV and Radio presenter Jade Avia and Chief Executive Officer of YMCA England Ian Green, at the Wellcome Collection in London on Wednesday 5 December 2012.

Youth Worker of the Year

Winner: Adi Davies of Bolton YMCA

Global Link Award

Winner: Lewis Barkway of North

PKF Delivering Success Award

CMS Cameron McKenna Young Volunteer of the Year

Winner: Jemma Masterson of YMCA Worcester
Finalists: Jessica Borsery of Chelmsford YMCA and Khalid Ali of Bradford YMCA

Co-operative Systems Young Achiever of the Year

Winner: Kieran Vincent of Romford YMCA
Finalists: Eileen Benham of Central Herts YMCA and Glyn Wright of Romford YMCA
