We work with homeless people of all ages, providing them with housing, support and guidance to empower them towards independent living and building a better life. We provide services for homeless people, rough sleepers, young people, vulnerable women, teenage parents and specialist drug and alcohol and mental health services. Our newest services are Palmer House – a 60 bed hostel in Croydon providing high quality short term accommodation for rough sleepers and homeless people with high support needs; and Eva House and Emily House, which together provide 22 brand new flats for vulnerable people. Palmer House, Eva House and Emily House were newly built with support from Croydon Council and the Homes and Communities Agency. South London YMCA celebrates its 150th anniversary during 2011, having started work in Croydon in 1861 |
