Woking YMCA opened the Ypod (a million pound, state-of-the-art youth facility) in the heart of Woking town centre in June 2006. The Ypod has two floors, the first of which is now up and running, consisting of a youth café (with pool table, table football, video games and internet suite), a recording studio, a large rehearsal room, a performance hall that can hold up to 250 people, office space, meeting rooms and full disabled access. This also serves as an excellent conferencing and room hire facility. The second floor is aiming to be a multi-sports centre with five-a-side football pitch and other facilities. At present we have a team of three employed staff members and around forty volunteers.

We offer young people advice, information and guidance on all aspects of life, a safe, positive place to hang out with their friends, accredited training and development opportunities, space to practice and perform music, dance, drama, DJing and more.
