Volunteering with the YMCA is a great way to share your skills, learn new skills and build new friendships.
There are many benefits to volunteering, from knowing that you’re making a contribution to your local community, to enhancing your CV and job prospects. With YMCAs in 250 communities around the country and 150 shops around the UK, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Volunteer in a YMCA Shop
We have over 800 volunteers in YMCA shops around the country. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and include students who want to contribute to the community, people who are retired and have some time to spare, and young people who want to gain retail experience to improve their CV.
