YMCA Southampton seeks to serve the needs of the community of Southampton, with an emphasis on the empowerment of young people. We do this by providing exciting personal development opportunities for children and young people between the ages of 5-25 years and have a particular vision to work with local schools and colleges to prevent the most vulnerable from being excluded from full time and further education.

We also provide 40 units of high quality accommodation for young people between the ages of 16 - 25 years who are either homeless, or at risk and have support needs. The accommodation consists of self contained studio flats constructed within the last 8 years which are let on assured shorthold tenancies. Access is either referal from partner agencies or direct access through our Housing Support Officers. (Please go to our website for more details.)
