You can send us anything from high-quality clothing and accessories to antiques, technology, or jewellery for free.

Download a Freepost label and print it at home, or if you haven’t got a printer, you can carry your voucher code on your mobile device to your nearest Collect+ location when you drop off your parcel and get it printed there.

Donate your pre-loved items to YMCA. Every donated item will help raise funds for YMCA’s work helping homeless young people.

Select your unwanted items

By sending us your pre-loved goods, you are being environmentally responsible while also helping to raise crucial funds to support young people. Every YMCA Charity Shop relies on your kind donations.

Your Freepost label can be printed at any collect+ location or at home; each label is valid for 28 days from the date of your online request. If you are a UK taxpayer, please include Gift Aid at this point. There is no cost to you, and YMCA can claim an additional 25p for every £1 raised through the sale of your donated items. Drop off your donation at a Collect+ drop-off location near you.

Other ways to donate

Free house clearance

Please call your nearest YMCA shop to find out if they offer this service. We may be able to collect suitable items that have been bagged and boxed up ready for collection on an agreed date.

Clothing banks

We have several clothing banks that you can use 24/7. Please note, we cannot claim Gift Aid on items donated in this way.

If your clothing bank is full, we kindly ask you to email retail.admin@ymca.org.uk or call 0207 186 9585.

Gift Aid

If you pay UK income or UK capital gains tax, we can claim 25% on every item you donate. Please fill out a Gift Aid form in our shop the first time you donate, so that we are able to claim an extra 25p for every £1 we raise from your donations.
