Leader of the Labour party Ed Miliband visited Doncaster for the grand opening of YMCA Training’s new facility. Mr Miliband was also joined by Labour candidates Rosie Winterton MP and Rt Hon. Caroline Flint, who all participated in an informal Q&A session with learners, trainers and community partners from across the area.
In addition to a buffet of teatime treats, the guests took part in group workshops and the learners were presented with Recognition of Personal Achievement awards for their hard work with YMCA.
Luckily for the learners, after giving a speech and cutting the ceremonial ribbon to declare the new centre open, Ed Miliband left enough time to take a few selfies too!
