YMCA Cornwall provides supported youth housing in Penzance for 50 vulnerable young people between the ages of 16 and 24. Young people live in a self-contained flat for up to two years with support from our dedicated housing team who work with each individual to identify their unique challenges and develop a tailored support plan together.
When young people are ready to live independently in privately rented or social housing, our resettlement workers offer up to six months of support after they move out of YMCA accommodation so they are not alone and feel more confident.
We have a social enterprise – Room Hire and Coffee Shop. Profits are reinvested to help us support vulnerable young people. Two boardrooms and two large studio spaces are available to hire seven days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
Our Coffee Shop is open seven days a week from 8am – 7.30pm.
